Wore my recent purchases to work today. I got this top at Warehouse. I’m drawn to anything with lace simply because it gives a hint of sophistication to an outfit. However, I paired it with my new trousers from Mango because I didn’t feel like wearing a skirt. I’m just not feeling dressy lately. Haha!

I decided to wear a green, beige and white combo for a refreshing look to end the week! Wore a tassel necklace to accentuate my top. I love the vintage design of this belt as it gives a sophisticated look on this semi casual ensemble. Finished it off with a beige Mary Janes.

Lacy Dressing
I feel somewhat adventurous for wearing an all-lace ensemble to work today. I guess it’s a little unusual for me to see lace worn to work, especially in a corporate setting such as mine, unless it’s an inner top. I was actually wearing a dress and just overlapped it with my lace top and cinched it with a vintage belt. I also wanted to add layers of pearl necklaces but was afraid I’d look OTT. I say, simplicity is key to this look. :)

I wanted to visit Legaspi Organic Market but I didn’t know it’s not open on Saturdays. So we ended up taking photos at the park before watching a movie. It was a typical lazy day for us corporate slaves. :)

HELLO, QUARTER LIFE!
Another realization that I’m maturing, I hardly party anymore. I’m done with getting all dressed up, spending late nights in clubs and getting a hangover the next day. Maybe a little once in a while isn’t so bad. But since my birthday fell on a Thursday and I’m trying to save, I don’t think there’ll be a party/celebration happening. Anyway, M and I had dinner at Papa John’s that night. :)
